For mammography, we have ‘state-of-the-art’ measurement equipment for monitoring performance of this modality and can comply fully with the ACR requirements for accreditation and MQSA requirements for continuing quality assurance (including quarterly inspections of the QA program). We perform a detailed 2-3 hour inspection annually and after any repair that could possibly affect the image quality. We are trained for both film-screen and digital mammography.
We have three physicists currently certified for mammography inspections and have received the required continuing education for mammography.
