Ultrasound annual testing is accomplished every six-months, as required by the ACR, using a special phantom and examining the following items:
- Caliper Accuracy
- Axial and Lateral Resolution
- Dead Zone
- Anechoic Structure Imaging
- Maximum Depth of Visualization
- Gray Scale and Displayed Dynamic Range
- Mechanical Inspection
- Onsite QC Program
We have three physicists who are currently certified to conduct ultrasound testing.
